EMCO Remote Shutdown Agent is a lightweight Windows service that works with EMCO Remote Shutdown to enable centralized power management across networked PCs. Installed on target machines, it receives commands from the management console and executes actions such as shutdown, restart, log off, sleep, and hibernate on demand or on a schedule. The agent supports batch operations across multiple computers, provides status feedback and logging for accountability, and can be deployed and updated remotely to reduce manual effort. Running unobtrusively with a small footprint, it helps administrators automate routine tasks, enforce power policies, and lower energy consumption across an organization.
